No new release window has been set for Pragmata. Instead of a 2023 launch window, it now has a “TBD” date range. The trailer ended with an apology that said the following:

“It is with a heavy heart that we must further postpone the release of Pragmata. Our team is currently hard at work making the best game that we possibly can, but we need more time. We will continue to do our best to ensure that the final product is worthy of your patience.”

The teaser didn’t show much. The little girl from the initial 2020 reveal is named Diana, according to this new clip. A soldier fighting robots while wearing an astronaut suit made of white is also shown. The brief gameplay clips show the astronaut carrying Diana in his backpack as he moves around a building that resembles a space station. He engages in close combat with smaller robots, then we witness him taking on a huge mech.

Near the end of the trailer, Diana is briefly shown in a close-up as she works with a floating computer interface. Her eyes are shown up close and have an interface that looks similar, indicating that she is somehow connected to technology, perhaps as a robot or just by some cybernetic upgrades.

Pragmata was first revealed in 2020 with a teaser that captured the attention of Capcom fans. It had a main character wearing a future space suit that looked like a cross between an astronaut’s outfit from today and something more militaristic.

The young girl and her robotic cat are with the astronaut as they go through the heart of a metropolis. It looks like a satellite is breaking through the sky, but it could be a series of screens. The trailer ends with the astronaut and the girl standing on the moon after they are swept into the chasm in the sky.
