Chris Evans, best known for his roles as Steve Rogers and Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2022.
Evans succeeds fellow Marvel star Paul Rudd, who was given the title in 2021. Evans rose to prominence with comedies such as Not Another Teen Movie and The Perfect Score.
He first appeared in superhero films such as Johnny Storm or Human Torch in the films Fantastic Four’ and ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.’ Both films received critical acclaim but bombed at the box office.

Jordan’s steady rise has been fueled by strong performances on The Wire and Friday Night Lights.
