Juhi Chawla is a Bollywood actor and an activist. She also won the Miss India beauty pageant contest in 1984. She established as one of the leading actors in Bollywood in the 1980s and 1990s. According to Daily Hunt in November 2020, Chawla was estimated to have total assets worth Rs 40 crores.

Chawla made her Bollywood debut in 1986 for the film %u2018Sultanat%u2019. But she rose to prominence after she featured in the 1988 film %u2018Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak%u2019 for which she earned the Filmfare award for Best Female Debut%u2019.
Chawla is married Jay Mehta, who owns the multinational company Mehta Group. She is also the co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
