Kanye West’s Twitter account has been suspended once again, just an hour after his account was reinstated. The 46-year-old artist was initially banned from the social media site in November 2022 after making an antisemitic statement.

He was suspended once more in December 2022 after returning to Elon Musk’s platform and posting an image of a swastika and a star of David blended together.

Musk acknowledged that he ‘tried’ to keep up West’s account before it made its brief return. Musk wrote on Twitter, “I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”

“If in doubt, let the speech exist,” was how the owner of Twitter/X previously expressed his approach towards content moderation. West’s career suffered in different ways after making antisemitic remarks on Twitter and Instagram.

Adidas announced that it would stop making the West-designed Yeezy products with “immediate effect,” calling his comments “unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous.”

West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, with whom he divorced in February of last year, has also commented on his controversy. The founder of Skims recently started crying while talking on The Kardashians.

Kim Kardashian, 42, confided in her younger sister Khloé Kardashian, 39, when her ex made the news. Kim admitted that her initial reaction to the controversy was to think, “Wow, I can never talk to this person again,” but that feeling changed when she considered her children.

In the episode, Kim and Khloé spoke after an article concerning West’s antisemitic remarks and his wearing a t-shirt with the slogan “White Lives Matter” showed on-screen. As Kim sobbed and declared that she was “not ok,” she emphasized that West was no longer “the person I married.”
