Television actor Karan Mehra, best known for playing the role of a doting husband on popular TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai%u2019, was taken into custody on Tuesday for allegedly beating up his wife Nisha Rawal. Shortly after getting arrested, Karan was granted bail.

- On%20Tuesday%20evening%2C%20Nisha%20held%20a%20press%20conference%20during%20which%20she%20accused%20Karan%20of%20having%20an%20extra-marital%20affair%20and%20also%20said%20that%20he%20has%20beaten%20her%20on%20several%20occasions.%20Nisha%20said%20that%20when%20she%20confronted%20him%20about%20his%20affair%20on%20Monday%20night%2C%20he%20hit%20her.
