Janhvi Kapoor graced the coffee couch with Sara Ali Khan in Episode 2 of the seventh season of Koffee with Karan. She talked about how Anshula Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor helped her deal with mother Sridevi’s demise. Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor are Janhvi’s half-siblings from her father’s first marriage.

Janhvi Kapoor graced the coffee couch for the second time. She was questioned about how she related with her family post her mother’s demise. She said that it was tough but acknowledged the help of Anshula and Arjun in getting past the void left by the death of her mother. 

She also spoke about how she feels that nothing can make up for the loss she has endured with the passing away of Sridevi. She shared that she has a very close bond with her family. She stated that her father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor have become best friends over the lockdown. The lockdown gave her a chance to see what the family dynamics were like after losing her mother Sridevi.

She also mentioned, “It almost feels as if the person I was when mom was around was a fantasy.” She felt she was a distinct person around Sridevi. Janhvi recalled that it hurts her to remember the human being that she was. “I would like to imagine that I have retained and preserved myself regardless of what she’s instilled in me but in lots of methods, it practically hurts to recall the human being that I was simply because it was different,” she said. 

Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut in 2018. She is currently looking forward to the release of her upcoming movie ‘GoodLuck Jerry’. The movie is all set to release on July 29. She is also working on ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ opposite Rajkumar Rao. She will be seen sharing the screen for the first time with Varun Dhawan in ‘Bawaal’.
