Actor Millie Bobby Brown was spotted on the sets of her upcoming Netflix film The Electric State. The Stranger Things star was seen in a T-shirt eating ice cream. Brown has ditched the buzzcut from Stranger Things and was in fairly long brown hair.

Brown is gearing up for the release of Enola Holmes 2, which will premiere on November 4, 2022.

The Electric State is an adaptation of a graphic novel of the same name, authored by Simon Stålenhag. Brown stars as the lead in the film, who travels across the American West in hopes of reuniting with her younger brother.

Brown’s character is joined by a robotic companion, an eccentric drifter who matches retro-futuristic America the film is set in.

The film features an A-list ensemble, as Brown will be accompanied by Guardian of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt, Shang-Chi’s Michelle Yeoh, Succession’s Brian Cox, The Hunger Games Stanley Tucci, Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander and Big Mouth’s Jenny Slate. Cox and slate will likely voice CGI characters.

The screenplay has been penned by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who worked as screenwriters for the much-acclaimed Avengers. They have collaborated with the Russo Brothers, the directors of the film, in the past. They will also serve as the executive producers for the film.

Joe Russo talked about the buzz around the film and the production process with Digital Spy.

“It’s a visually stunning movie, and we’re working with Dennis Gassner, who’s one of the best production designers who’s ever lived. He’s helping us create the world and the set,” the director said.

The film has an assigned budget of $200 million, sources confirmed. Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man had a similar budget, which was the duo’s big hit. There has been no confirmation about The Electric State’s release date as of yet, but speculations point toward the end of next year or early 2024.
