Neymar Jr on Sunday reacted to a verified Tinder account with his name, before
saying that he hoped the person using his name was running the account wisely.
The online dating application, which lets people swipe as per their liking in
selecting their partners, also matches individuals through common interests.

The 29-year-old, who has a Twitter following of nearly 53
million, jokingly tweeted out about the fake account.

“I hope that whoever is using the tinder with my name … is
representing well huh”, Neymar wrote, with a few laughing emojis alongside his
tweet.

The former Barcelona forward, who has scored 13 goals in 18
matches across all competitions so far, also replied in the comment thread of
Brazilian entertainment page gossipdodia.

“And there we go! A follower found @neymarjr’s profile
on tinder. The profile was verified. Would you like it?”, the page wrote
in the caption of the post, to which Neymar replied, saying “Whoever is using
it is having fun huh, unfortunately it’s not mine”.’

The Brazilian superstar is quite well-known for his
flamboyant lifestyle outside the field, and has been several partners up until now.

His son, Davi Lucca da Silva Santos (9), was born when the
footballer was with his former girlfriend Carolina Dantas.
