Rita Ora confessed that she secretly married Hollywood actor and filmmaker Taika Waititi, but the marriage ceremony was kept extremely private.  The 32-year-old singer shared the good news on Heart Radio Breakfast on Friday while promoting her brand-new song, “You Only Love Me.” Ora appears in a wedding scene in the music video while dressed in a beautiful vintage Yves Saint Laurent Autumn/Winter 1987 Rive Gauche gown.

She announced to the world, “I am officially off the market, people. I chose to keep it more private and keep it to myself more but with my new video I am playing on what could have been.”

Rita continued to talk about her special day, describing it as perfect and just how she had envisioned it. “It was nice and perfect. It is nice to keep some things just to myself sometimes it was nice and sweet. Sorry, it’s not that interesting. One day I will throw a big party”, she said.

Timeline of Ora and Waititi’s relationship:

According to rumors, the singer and the director have been dating since 2020. Last year, speculation that they were engaged began to spread. Officially, they started dating around the beginning of 2021, and in August of that same year, they made their relationship public by showing up together for the California premiere of The Suicide Squad. She stated that she was “very much in love” and that her relationship with Waititi was a “fairytale” on Jaime Winstone’s Greatest Night Ever podcast in September.

There are currently very minimal details available regarding the couple’s wedding, however, an insider earlier told People that it was a “very small” service. The news of Ora and Waititi’s marriage broke initially in The Sun, while Daily Mail highlighted that both were seen with gold rings on their ring fingers.
