She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 3 sees Jennifer Walters manage to get Emil Blonsky or Abomination out of jail, while a fellow lawyer in her superhero division fights for an old colleague of Walters’ from the District Attorney’s office. It turns out Dennis Bukowski, Walters’ former workmate, believed he was dating rapper Megan Thee Stallion when he was actually being scammed by a shapeshifting Asgardian Light Elf named Runa.

It is a great example of how humanity coexists with these other-worldly creatures within the Marvel Cinematic Universe

When Bukowski wins his case against Runa, the real Megan Thee Stallion makes some noise in the courtroom, saying that there can only be one of her. At the end of the episode, the 27-year-old is seen in Walters’ office, where She-Hulk twerks to Megan Thee Stallion’s track, Body.

The singer joins in on a bit of the fun and tells Walters that she’s much better than her last attorney, to which She-Hulk replies that she’d “kill for” Megan Thee Stallion.

Taken aback at the show of emotion, and the possibility of the phrase being literal with the She-Hulk, Megan Thee Stallion asks her to dial it down a notch.

One Twitter user predicted that She-Hulk would twerk when news of Megan Thee Stallion’s cameo broke.

Twerking is defined as sexually suggestive dancing that includes a repeated thrusting of the hips or buttocks, especially when one is squatting.

The series received some flak for its shoddy VFX when the initial look came out, and many on the internet have returned to the same punchline after the twerking scene.

Those on Twitter have taken note of the extra work the VFX department must have had to put in for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law to include the dance step. Thus far, the reaction is one of shock and awe, with some calling it “cringe”.
