Sunny Leone has responded to critics who accuse her of not properly raising her daughter Nisha. Nisha was adopted by Sunny and her husband Daniel Weber in 2017. Through surrogacy, the couple became parents to twin boys Noah and Asher the following year.
Trolls have repeatedly accused the star of adopting Nisha “just for publicity” and of treating her sons better. The actor called such trolling “childish” in a recent interview.
Sunny was spotted heading down the stairs with her three children, Nisha, Noah, and Asher, in a video shot in January. Sunny was seen in the video holding her two children, Noah and Asher, while Nisha was seen walking down the stairs by herself.
This led to some people accusing Sunny of not paying attention to Nisha “since she was adopted”. One of the comments read, “I believe she has adopted her daughter only for publicity.”
“I think the person who wrote it is someone who is not a part of my everyday life,” Sunny told DNA in response to such comments.
“I don’t need a single photo to dictate my parenting to my children or for someone to judge me only on the basis of a single photograph. Why don’t you put yourself in my position for at least five minutes before passing judgement on me, my children, my family, my parenting abilities, and my preference for one over the other? I mean, come on, it’s ridiculous, it’s childish.”
She then issued a message to anyone who criticises her parenting abilities or casts aspersions on her. “Any parent who has raised a child or multiple children understands what it takes to raise a child. So, to the haters out there, grow up. That’s what I would say,” she continued.

Sunny’s husband Daniel had also slammed people who claimed Sunny and he weren’t treating Nisha well days after the initial trolling. “She is the princess of my house. It’s absurd that people have such thinking,” he had told Bollywood Life.
Sunny will soon be featured in the online series Anamika, in which she portrays a rogue spy. From March 10, the action thriller directed by Vikram Bhatt will premiere on MX Player.
