British singer-songwriter Adele on Thursday announced that Las Vegas residency has been postponed indefinitely due to COVID-related production delays, just a day before the concert was set to kick off at Las Vegas’ Colosseum of Caesars Palace Hotel.

“All dates will be rescheduled, more info coming soon,” she wrote on Instagram.

The singer also shared a video in which she broke down, saying, “I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready.” Soon, her fans took to social media to show their support. 

Who is Adele?

Adele, who is one of the most popular singers in the world, is a 

fifteen-time GrammyAwards winner. 

The 33-year-old graduated from the BRIT School in 2006 and signed a record deal with XL Recordings. She has come a long way since then. Her first album was titled 19 (2008), her second album was titled 21 (2011), her third studio album was titled 25 and her most recent album, titled 30, was released in November 2021.

She holds three Guinness World Records, including being the first female solo artist to hold the number 1 spot in the United Kingdom for 18 cumulative weeks and being the first female artist to have two singles and two albums in the UK top five at the same time.

Adele began dating entrepreneur Simon Konecki in 2011. In October 2012, she announced the birth of their son Angelo James.

In 2017, the singer confirmed that she had married Konecki in a private ceremony. However, two years later, her representative confirmed that the couple had separated. 

In 2021, Adele confirmed her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul.
