Hasit Savani, an international stunt artist, has made headlines for body-doubling Shah Rukh Khan in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. An unseen photo from the film’s set has now gone viral on social media. Hasit Savani shared a photo with King Khan himself.

Hasit took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes photo taken on the film’s set. “A real pleasure to be the stunt double for the legend, Shah Rukh Khan, for his cameo sequence in the Bollywood film Brahmastra,” Hasit captioned the post. In the photo, Shah Rukh and his body double, Hasit posed for the camera while wearing matching outfits – a white T-shirt drenched in soaked in blood and matching jeans under a greyish cape.

Who is Hasit Savani? 

Hasit Savani was born in London on August 5, 1986. Much about his family and upbringing is unknown. Savani showed an early interest in athletics and gymnastics. He was enrolled in a martial arts program when he was only eight years old. 

The London-based stuntman has acted as a body-double in several Hollywood films, including James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: The Age of Ultron, directed by Joss Whedon.

He has worked with several A-list superstars. He also acted as a body double for Raimi Malek’s character Lyutsifer Safin in James Bond’s No Time to Die and performed stunts in Venom, starring Riz Ahmed, Tom Hardy and Reid Scott. Besides this, he has performed in Aladin (2019), Dr Strange, Pennyworth (2017), Justice League (2017) and Wonder Woman.

Hasit Savani is a recipient of the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records. In 2012, he did a forward jump flip of 19 feet 7 inches at a sports complex in London, which earned him this accolade.
