Miley Cyrus secured her last Billboard No 1 hit in 2013, with Wrecking Ball off her album Bangrez, a song about a relationship that’s falling apart. The pop banger gained further traction after its controversial music video was released.

Now with the realities of her brand-new single Flowers from her upcoming eight studio album titled Endless Summer Vacation, she could reclaim the top position once again. The song is charting at No 2, behind Raye’s Escapism. The song is rumored to be about ex-husband and Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth. But this has sparked a discussion on Cyrus’ current romance Maxx Morando. 

Who is Maxx Morando?

Cyrus’ is currently dating Maxx Morando. The 24-year-old was a part of the punk rock band The Regrettes from 2015 to 2018 and is currently a part of Liily, an LA-based band. 

Morando was born on November 16, 1998, which makes him 6 years younger than Cyrus. 

Morando is also a fashion artist. The young musician draw certain cartoon characters which were a part of a designer collaboration that Cyrus wore in one of her performances. She talked about this collaboration in an interview with Vogue, where she also mentioned Morando.

Though the two never confirmed their romance, a source told E! In January 2022,  “she’s happily dating Maxx. It’s official between them.” A second source informed that the two came to know each other through a mutual connection and bonded well since they are both artistic and creative” and “bonded over being musicians.”
