Actor Nora Fatehi never fails to turn heads and the recent one is performing the hook step of ‘Mere Piya Ghar Aaya’ with Madhuri Dixit on the reality show ‘Dance Deewane’.

The actress who shot to fame with her item number ‘Dilbar’ is quite sought after in the industry, especially for her dance moves and if reports are to be believed, she has been roped in for an item song in Pakistani actress Mahira Khan’s upcoming film ‘Superstar’.

Nora made her film debut in the Bollywood film ‘Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans’. However, her  journey in Bollywood was not easy and The Moroccan beauty once cried her heart out as she recalled her traumatic struggle in Bollywood and meeting evil people in the industry.

“We were so excited and so naive. When I reached India, it was nothing like (what I had imagined). I was thinking I’ll get picked up by a limousine and a butler, and they’re going to take me to a suite, and I would go to my auditions in that limo. It was nothing like that. I had the biggest slap in my face. The bullying, the rejection, the traumatic experience that I went through,” she told Dubai-based YouTuber Anas Bukhash in an interview.

Before making her way to Bollywood, she started off as one of the contestants in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 9’ in 2015. In 2016, she participated in the reality television dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and also appeared in the Bollywood film Satyamev Jayate in which she was seen in the recreated version of the song ‘Dilbar’ which crossed 20 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release.

Her other Bollywood films include “Street Dancer 3D”, “ Marjaavaan”, “ Batla House” and  “Stree”.

She also gained popularity in Telugu cinema by doing item numbers in films like ‘Temper’, ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Kick 2’.
