A legal claim has been made against well-known YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as Mr. Beast, and his Beast Investments by Virtual Dining Concepts and Celebrity Virtual Dining (VDC). Donaldson is accused of breaching his contractual responsibilities, and there are also claims of intentional interference at the heart of the legal action.

According to the lawsuit, Virtual Dining Concepts and Celebrity Virtual Dining are claiming damages in excess of $100 million. The company filed the lawsuit on Monday in the Supreme Court of the State of New York for the County of New York, as reported by Variety.

Donaldson and Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC) are suing one another over their contract linked to the MrBeast Burger virtual restaurant franchise as their legal dispute has intensified.

Donaldson filed the lawsuit last month in an effort to end the agreement with VDC, alleging a number of problems with the caliber of the hamburgers sold under his brand name. He insisted that the criticism of the cuisine, which included the words “disgusting,” “revolting,” and “inedible,” hurt his reputation.

VDC and its parent company retaliated by labeling Donaldson’s complaint “meritless” and “ill-advised.” They claimed that Donaldson had broken his contract with the business and was trying to strike a new one in order to advance his own financial objectives and cede more control over the brand. Additionally, VDC asserted that Donaldson was attempting to break his current contractual commitments without good reason.

Virtual Dining Concepts claimed in its lawsuit against Jimmy Donaldson that the case involves a social media celebrity who mistakenly thinks that because of his fame, he is free to disregard the value of his word and the truth and that he is free to break his contractual obligations without being held accountable. He is mistaken.
