For actor Zareen Khan, 2021 has not been a great one as she lost her “nana and her mother has been “in and out of hospitals”. However, the one good thing that happened to her in the year was meeting ‘Bigg Boss’ fame Shivashish Mishra.

The rumours of the two dating have been going around for a while. When asked about it, Zareen said, “We are trying to get to know each other.”

 “We are similar people and like each other’s company. Let’s see where it goes. We got to know each other very recently. I met him at the beginning of the year. (So) Jumping to a conclusion is too early. We like each other and that’s about it,” she said.

So is she dating Mishra? “Dating or not dating, we are best friends,” she replies and adds, “I’m too old school to understand these terms. We are in a beautiful phase. I’m liking and enjoying it.”

Talking about “Shiv”, as she fondly calls Mishra, Khan says, “He is a great guy. I like the fact that he has a childlike personality, just like me. There’s no pretend and just honesty between us”, reports Hindustan Times.

Zareen made her Bollywood debut in 2010 playing a princess in the commercially unsuccessful epic action film ‘Veer’ and subsequently appeared in the hugely popular item number ‘Character Dheela’ in the 2011 blockbuster comedy ‘Ready’.

She got her breakthrough with the role of a glamorous model in the 2012 romantic comedy Housefull 2, that ranks as her highest-grossing release till date. The next year, she ventured into Tamil cinema with an item number Malgove in Naan Rajavaga Pogiren.

Following a leading role in the 2014 Punjabi film Jatt James Bond, she returned to Bollywood, starring in the 2015 erotic thriller Hate Story 3.In 2019, Khan debuted into Telugu cinema with the action thriller Chanakya.
