A man in Brazil was saved by miracle after his incredible Hulk-themed phone cover deflected a bullet during an armed robbery. This happened because much of the impact was
absorb by the Motorola G5 Smartphone that stopped the bullet and saved his
life.

According to
the Daily Mail, the robbery took place on October 7, 2021 at a rural area
of Petrolina municipality in the northeast region of the country. The victim was immediately admitted to Petrolina’s University Hospital.
A doctor of the University hospital named Pedro Carvalho was treating the victim and posted the pictures of phone, which shows a spider web crack in the
display where the bullet struck.

The doctor
shared the pictures on his official twitter account and wrote a note that
translates to, “Patient was admitted to the ER after being shot in a
robbery, and the bullet ended up in his cell phone…” The post went viral
on Twitter with 6,355 likes and hundreds of retweets.
Although the
identity of the man was not disclosed, the doctor said he did well and was sent
home. Carvalho confirmed in a tweet that several people had been asking
about the patient. The doctor said he had minor bruises and had been discharged
from the hospital.

This is not
the first time a phone has saved a human life. A few years ago, a Taiwanese man
survived a gunshot wound to the head of a Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 that shot
him.
The man was
shot in the arm but the bullet was blocked by a smartphone in the pocket of his
shirt, which prevented it from reaching his chest.
