The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers
Bangalore left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday. The team shared a photograph of the players inside the plane enroute to Dubai. While some of the players were
identifiable even with the face mask, the main man, captain Virat Kohli could not be located in the photo. Fans flooded the comment section asking questions about Kohli’s
whereabouts.

Soon, Royal Challengers Bangalore
obliged the fans and shared a photo of the skipper.

The Indian captain, too, uploaded a photo of himself on
his official Instagram account. “Hello Dubai,” Kohli captioned the photo.

The Bangalore-based franchise, despite reaching the final
on three occasions haven’t won the title once, will aim to lift the coveted
trophy for the first time. The tournament, which is being played in the UAE,
will provide a neutral battleground for all the teams.

Earlier, the cash-rich tournament was postponed due to
the coronavirus pandemic. Later it was shifted out of the
country.

In a first, the T20 league will witness empty stands and
follow other SOPs that were released by the organising committee.

The RCB finished at the eighth spot last year, while Mumbai Indians
lifted the IPL trophy for a record fourth time.

Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai will host all the IPL
matches this year.
