Union Cabinet Minister Kiren Rijiju, who has in the past posted videos of his fitness routine and shooting skills, recently shared a video on Twitter displaying his singing talent. The video that features the 49-year-old minister performing a song dedicated to soldiers of the 62 Engineer Regiment of Indian Army, earned a lot of appreciation. 

The video starts with Rijiju singing a song from the 1979 movie Dhund and the words from the song are ‘Sansar ki har shay ka itna hi fasana hai’. In his tweet, he wrote a caption saying, “I’m not a singer but I proudly sang for our brave jawans! I had a memorable evening with the personnel of 62 Engineer Regiment of Indian Army after a visit to border to see roads and other infrastructure with DG BRO.”

The video was shared on February 9, and it has got more than 88,000 views and scores of comments. Twitter users have applauded the sport’s minister for his gesture towards the jawans. “Mr.Rijiju you are so melodious and sing so well,” wrote a user
