The Detroit Lions faced the Miami Dolphins in Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season on Sunday, October 30, at Ford Field. They began the game on a strong note, scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter against the Dolphins, one of which was converted by running back D’Andre Swift.

The 23-year-old returned to the field after being absent for three weeks and marked his return with a touchdown in the first quarter against the Miami Dolphins. The running back received the ball from quarterback Jared Goff before going on to score the second touchdown of the game.
