In a video shared by Rajasthan Royals, the team’s all-rounder Shreyas Gopal can be seen imitating the unique bowling action of Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who plays for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Not only this, Bumrah says that Gopal does the bowling action better than him, the RR all-rounder said in the video.

In the video, Gopal is also seen trying to replicate the bowling actions of bowlers such as Harbhajan Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin.

Gopal is naturally a leg-spinner but is seen imitating Bumrah’s unorthodox action in the nets. “I have shown it to Bumrah himself. And he’s said I imitate him better than he does it himself,” said the leg-spinner in the video.

Gopal has appeared in one match for RR so far in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, where he conceded 40 runs without picking up any wicket. He appeared in 14 matches for RR in the previous season, and picked up 10 wickets.
