The Chiefs had fallen behind 10-0 that also had a TD courtesy of QB Jimmy Garoppolo‘s pass to WR Ray-Ray McCloud in the first quarter. The Chiefs then decreased the 49ers’ lead to just three points after QB Patrick Mahomes just popped the ball in the air to an approaching Hardman who caught the ball and ran eight yards into the 49ers’ endzone for just his second receiving TD of the season.

After the end of the first quarter, the Chiefs finally got their first lead of the game when Hardman rushed right into the SF End Zone while being chased by multiple 49ers defensive players for a 25-yard touchdown. This TD marked his first-ever rushing end zone play for his career.

Hardman was drafted 56th overall pick by the Kansas-based team and has played in all of the team’s matches in his first three seasons. The player has recorded a grand total of 1,791 receiving yards with 12 TDs. This season, Hardman has 15 receptions in 21 targets for 186 yards.
