With her longtime boyfriend Cordae, Naomi Osaka has announced that she is expecting their first child. Three days after announcing her withdrawal from the 2023 Australian Open, the four-time Major champion provided confirmation and dispelled any lingering questions.
The 25-year-old, who has been largely missing from the tour for the most part in the last couple of years, posted a photograph of her most recent sonogram scan on social media on Wednesday. She also wrote a letter to her supporters and admirers in which she reaffirmed her continued passion for tennis.

Osaka was born on October 16, 1997– making her 25 years old. She was born in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan.

Osaka is the second child of Tamaki Osaka and Leonard Francois. The family currently resides in Beverly Hills, California, where the couple has two daughters. From the Caribbean nation of Haiti comes Father Leonard Francois. A Japanese writer named Tamaki Osaka is her mother.
