Maxx Crosby, the defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, is expecting a child with his fiance Rachel Washburn. This will be the couple’s first child. 

The player said during August 24th media availability, “It’s crazy, yesterday was five, I think we got five weeks now,” So it’s unreal. It flew by, I’m just super excited. This camp has been super long. A lot is going on.”

“Rachel’s giving me updates, sending me videos,” added the player. In an Instagram post on April 1, 2022, Crosby announced he is expecting a baby girl.

Who is Maxx Crosby?

Maxx Crosby is an American football player who plays for the Las Vegas Raiders in the National Football League. Crosby was drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He plays the defensive end position.

Crosby was born on August 22, 1997 in Colleyville city of Texas State and attended the Colleyville Heritage High School in Colleyville. Crosby attended Eastern Michigan University and played for the college’s Eagles football team from 2015 to 2018.

NFL Career: –

Crosby was selected in the fourth round as the 106th overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders, now known as the Las Vegas Raiders.

Crosby made his debut against the Denver Broncos in week one. Crosby had six tackles in the 24-16 victory. Crosby recorded his first career sack against the Chicago Bears in week 5 as the team won 24-21. He was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after sacking Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley four times in a 17-11 victory over the Bengals in Week 11. In his rookie season, he appeared in 16 games, starting 10, and totaled 47 tackles and 10 sacks.

Next season, he played and started all of the team’s 16 games and had 39 total tackles and 7 sacks for the year. Crosby earned his second AFC Defensive Player of the Week award in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season, recording six tackles, two sacks, and two tackles for loss in a 33-27 win over the Ravens. Crosby was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week in week 18 after registering two sacks, six tackles, three tackles for a loss, four quarterback hits, 11 pressures, and three passes defended against the Los Angeles Chargers. Crosby was named second-team All-Pro after the season ended.

On March 11, 2022, he signed a four-year $98 million contract extension with the Raiders.
