NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe and Ja Morant’s father Tee Morant got into an argument during Friday’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

It all began after Sharpe and Memphis guard Dillon Brooks exchanged words. Things got worse when Brooks’ teammates Steven Adams and Morant joined in. Soon, Tee Morant too got into the mix. Sharpe and Tee exchanged words before they were separated.

Speaking to ESPN’s NBA expert Dave McMenamin following the game, Sharpe said the incident began when he told Brooks he was too small to guard LeBron James.

“I said Brooks was too small to guard LeBron, he said ‘F–k me’,” Sharpe said.

“I said ‘f–k you back’. He started to come at me and I said ‘You don’t want these problems’ and then Ja came out of nowhere talking. He definitely didn’t want these problems. Then the dad came and he obviously didn’t want no problems. But I wanted anything they had. Don’t let these fools fool you now. They do all this talking and jockeying, and I ain’t about that jockeying,” he said.

Sharpe and Tee eventually hugged it out before the beginninig of the fourth quarter.
