Ronda Rousey defeated Shotzi Blackheart, successfully defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WWE Survivor Series WarGames on Saturday. But her performance wasn’t up to WWE Universe’s expectations and fans are now demanding to fire Ronda Rousey from WWE.

Expressing their frustration at the SmackDown Women’s Champion work rate, fans used #FireRondaRousey on Twitter. The hashtag soon came to the top trends on Twitter during the show this week. Rousey was trolled on the social media platform for her performance at Survivor Series during the PLE itself.

The championship match failed to grab fan appreciation and contained plenty of bad spots. At a moment in the match, Shotzi tried to hit the champion with a DDT on the ring apron, but the move didn’t work out the way it was supposed to.

Shotzi climbed up the ropes along with keeping hold of Rousey before going for a DDT where she leapt over the top rope. The Baddest Woman on the Planet failed to catch Shotzi and subsequently, both women fell from the apron to the floor with the challenger taking the disgrace of the fall.

Rousey beat Emma in an open challenge to defend the title in her name and aligned herself with fellow Four Horsewomen member Shayna Baszler to carry forward her status as champion.

Also, Rousey and Baszler are friends since their time together in UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) and WWE, but they had largely abstained from presenting themselves as on-screen allies until the build toward Survivor Series.

Prior to Survivor Series WarGames, Rousey and Shotzi faced each other twice in televised singles matches and the former secured victory in both of them in quick fashion.

Shotzi has undergone a character and attitude transformation since that time, but it still wasn’t enough for her to knock off the championship.
