Kimber Musk, who currently sits on Tesla’s board, would lie to Elon about the time, often telling him that the bus would be arriving several minutes before the scheduled time. And this slight manipulation ensured that Elon never missed the bus to school.

A Twitter user shared a 2018 article, where complete details are given on how Kimber tricked his elder brother into timekeeping. Ratifying the claim, Elon replied to the tweet. “True”, the Tesla CEO’s reply read.
