Singer Maeta, who was shooting for her latest music video, was bitten by a snake on her face. The Indianapolis singer took to social media to talk about her experience.

The clip that she uploaded on social media shows a snake attacking her chin during a music video shoot. Maeta, who looks startled by the snake, can be seen shrugging off the snake.

Shooting with animals can be appealing, but equally dangerous. The pop star uploaded this clip on  December 20 and it has taken Twitter by storm with 11.4K views. People on social media are having hilarious reactions to the incident and are taking to the comments to express their opinions. “Snake bites tend to be bad omens,”  said one while another pointed out, “He said you smell sweet”.

Maeta, who has hit songs like “Toxic” and “Teen Scene” in her repertoire, took to Twitter to post the clip along with the caption “Never Again”. The 21-year-old pop star has been making and sharing music on YouTube for the last two years and has moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. Her music video “Toxic” and “Don’t be a bitch” have 336k and 1M views, respectively, on Youtube. She uploaded the same clip on Instagram and captioned it “what I go through to make videos for y’all”. 

This 5-second clip has gone viral on Instagram with over 498k views. Maeta has 2,100 followers on Twitter. Her latest post on Instagram was on  December 22 in which she can be seen singing. She captioned the post, “wouldn’t be me if I didn’t mess up a word lol  Happy Holidays everyone”. The post has 142k views and 350 comments. Her content on social media ranges from song covers to posts regarding her own compositions.
