Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta Platforms, appeared to be working out with Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya, both of whom are UFC champions, according to a pictures shared on Israel Adesanya on Twitter on Tuesday.

Just the previous weekend, Zuckerberg seemed to agree to participate in a cage match with Twitter CEO and richest man in the world Elon Musk.

In a picture posted on Twitter on Tuesday, Adesanya, Volkanovski, and Zuckerberg can be seen without shirts, with the message “This is Serious Business.” The two tech titans have been teased about a potential cage match for several weeks.

Who is Alexander Volkanovski?

Volkanovski was born on 29 September 1988. He is an Australian mixed martial artist. He is the current UFC Featherweight Champion and competes in the Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was formerly the Featherweight champion of the Australian Fighting Championship (AFC). Volkanovski competed as a professional boxer in 2015 before making his UFC debut. He is first in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound rankings as of July 11, 2023.

Volkanovski started practicing Greco-Roman wrestling at a young age and, at the age of 12, he won a national championship. During his high school and college years, he would give up Greco-Roman wrestling to focus on rugby before beginning his MMA training. In late 2011, he gave up rugby at the age of 23 to focus on a professional MMA career.

Before turning pro, Volkanovski had a perfect record in amateur competition. In 2012, he would make his professional debut at Revolution Promotions, where he was declared the winner by a unanimous vote. Volkonovski racked up a 13-1 record while competing on the Oceania regional circuit, winning the titles of AFC Featherweight, PXC Featherweight, Wollongong Wars Lightweight, Roshambo MMA Lightweight, and Cage Conquest Welterweight.
