Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recently lashed out at an AP reporter for confronting the Republican. The reporter named Steve Peoples asked why he was not taking questions from the voters when he was taking pictures with members of the crowd in New Hampshire during the election campaign.

Who is Steve Peoples?

Steve Peoples is a reporter by profession. He is working as a National political reporter for The Associated Press. As per his LinkedIn, Peoples has been working with AP for over 12 years and national politics and policies. He has studied at Brown University.

Rep. leader Ron DeSantis snapped at Peoples when he questioned DeSantis for not taking questions from the voters. DeSantis in retort said, “People are coming up to me, talking to me” ”What are you talking about? Are you blind? Are you blind? People are coming up to me, talking to me whatever they want to talk to me about”, he added.

The video of the incident went viral on social media. In the video, DeSantis can be seen taking pictures with the members of the crowd during campaigning in New Hampshire in an event.

As the video went to the press, DeSantis’ press secretary Bryan Griffin made the statement on the incident. He said, “This @AP reporter asked this question while @RonDeSantis was surrounded by voters in New Hampshire asking him questions and taking pictures. Perfectly illustrative of the modern media shutting their eyes and ears to the truth to push their narrative.”
