Now acquired by the New York Times, Wordle is the new addictive game that has everybody guessing. The rules are simple and someone can only play it once a day.
The five-letter word has to be guessed in six tries, so players start off with a random word. If one of the letters in the first word typed in, exists in the word of the day, the tile with the letter will turn yellow or green.
If it turns yellow, it means the letter is in the wrong spot but exists in the word of the day. If it turns green that means the letter is in the right spot when it comes to the word of the day. Thereon, players have to keep guessing within the limited number of attempts.
