According to reports, a man named Abdalmash H was detained on suspicion of stabbing kids at a play area in the French Alps. Abdalmash is accused of attacking two people, two children, and a kid who was about three years old on Thursday at 9.45 a.m. in the French city of Annecy. Life-threatening injuries were suffered by one adult, and two of the kids.

Who is Abdalmash H?

Abdalmash H is a 32-year-old Syrian asylum seeker. Abdalmash landed in France in 2022 and allegedly possessed refugee status.

He is suspected of repeatedly stabbing a baby in a pram and stabbing four children under the age of three in France. The mother of one of the children yelled and tried to stop the Syrian as he went onto a playground and carried out the crazed attack.

After a brief scuffle near the park, which is located in a square in Alpine town, Abdalmash was quickly apprehended by police, according to The Sun. After the Syrian refugee fought with the authorities, the armed cops shot him. He was then detained by police, who took him to the hospital.

“The man was shouting in English, and caused absolute panic when he started attacking the little ones,” according to an eyewitness who requested to remain unnamed. “He wanted to hurt as many people as he could. He caused carnage. The young children were just easy targets.”

Another person admitted to the reporters that they had previously spotted the man wandering the park. “He was there every morning, from morning to night and everyone had spotted him a little because he was all alone,” they said. We said ‘who was he, he’s weird’, but on the other hand, he said hello to us.”
