Kon Banega Crorepati 14 has finally found its first crorepati in Kolhapur-based homemaker, Kavita Chawla. The 45-year-old won Rs 1 crore and is all set to face the final question of Rs 7.5 crore.

It will be interesting to see whether Chawla will give the right answer to the question asked for the next stop of Rs 1 crore, that is Rs 7.5 crore or will quit by taking Rs 1 crore. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kavita Chawla mentioned that she wants to create history. She also stated that she has waited for 21 years to reach the hot seat.

Sony Television on its official Instagram account shared a teaser of the forthcoming episode where an elated Chawla can be seen celebrating her win. The teaser ends with Big B asking her if she will be able to win Rs 7.5 crore in the subsequent question. 

In an interview with ETimes, Chawla stated that she wanted to be a part of KBC from the year 2000. She also mentioned that she has made numerous attempts to participate in the show, but all her efforts were futile. In KBC season 13, 2021, Kavita reached the fastest fingers first round. However, she could not make it to the hot seat. 

“I am really hoping and looking forward to answering the Rs 7.5 crore question too”, Kavita said, as quoted by ETimes. She also stated that she will use the prize money to send her son Vivek abroad for higher studies. She also mentioned that if she wins Rs 7.5 crore, she will use the money to build a bungalow and travel the world. 

For a sum of Rs 7.5 crore, Chawla was asked: Gundappa Vishwanath, the first Indian to score a double century on first-class debut, achieved that feat against which team. 

The answer to the question was Andhra. However, Chawla did not take a risk and quit the game after winning Rs 1 crore.

Himani Bundela was the first crorepati of KBC season 13. The 25-year-old hailed from Agra and was visually impaired. She decided to quit the game after winning Rs 1 crore.
