On the fifth anniversary of this beautifully realistic movie, Twitter users are celebrating the day their own way. While some are sharing their favourite moments from the movie, many are remembering late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and praising his flawless performance in the movie, and others are just happy that a movie as great as it was made in Bollywood.

Released in 2016, ‘MS Dhoni: The untold story, is a biopic based on the life and journey of former Indian cricket captain and legendary player Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The role of MS Dhoni was played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died in 2020 by suicide. The actor’s death caused a huge uproar in the Bollywood industry with the audience calling out nepotism and favouritism in the industry.
Rajput’s partner, Rhea Chakraborty was also dragged into the matter and was subjected to a brutal media trial alleging she prompted Sushant to attempt suicide. A large portion of social media users blamed Rhea for Sushant’s death and even labelled her a ‘witch’ claiming that she performed black magic on the actor.
Following the uproar Rhea and her brother were arrested in drugscase related to the actor’s death. She was released on bail after 21 day.
However, about the film, ‘MS Dhoni: The untold story’ also featured Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, Kiara Advani and Disha Patni.
