When asked if she would adopt her husband Travis Barker’s last name, Kourtney Kardashian Barker didn’t think twice.

Kourtney, 43, who married the American musician in May, stopped by  Studio 1A on Monday, where she talked about marriage and Season 2 of her family’s show “The Kardashians.”

The reality star was certain enough of her decision to marry Barker as he was the perfect match for her, and she believes Barker is the perfect match for her. The newlywed revealed to Hoda Kotb that she always intended to keep things traditional and take her new husband’s surname. 

“It was just a given, it wasn’t a thought,” she said. “So now my middle name is Kardashian.”

Kardashian Barker spilled about the life as a newlywed, saying she loves that their relationship has always been “kind of easy.”

“I think of times (and other relationships) when things weren’t so easy and it’s just like, when it’s right, it’s right,” she said.

Tattooing his wife’s name on his body was a way for Barker to express his love. The mother of three revealed to Hoda that his “Kourtney” tattoo is her favourite, and that he has a tattoo of her lips as well as one that she did herself.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got hitched on May 22 in a lavish wedding in Italy, exchanging vows in front of family and friends, including Mark Hoppus and Kim Kardashian. 

The Dolce & Gabbana estate in Portofino served as the venue for the wedding. Andrea Bocelli sang during one of Kourtney and Travis’ first dances as husband and wife at the Castello Brown reception. Kourtney and the 46-year-old musician were photographed praying while kneeling on gold chairs at the altar in wedding photos.

 Kourtney and the Blink-182 drummer were spotted enjoying their life as newlyweds on a yacht on May 23 after a whirlwind weekend. Travis and Kourtney were photographed jumping into the water in matching black outfits in photos obtained by E! News.
