Plot

While the plot of the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is still unknown, Gunn did share some information on his Twitter account, where he teased the arrival of “one of the greatest MCU characters of all time.” Cryptic as always, Marvel is keeping fans in the dark about the majority of the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.

The Holiday Special, which is set to be released in time for the 2022 holiday season, has already piqued the interest of MCU fans eager to see their favorite dysfunctional family on the big screen again. Knowing that this special will directly connect to previous Phase Three films to help usher in Phase Four is certain to be a game changer, positioning the special up to be more than just a standalone holiday offering.
