Arvind Trivedi is an Indian actor who predominantly features in Gujarati cinema. He has been in the industry for over 40 years. He is popular for playing the character of Ravan in the television show %u2018Ramayan%u2019, Ramanand Sagar%u2019s TV series. He is also known for appearing in %u2018Vikram Aur Betaal%u2019.
Trivedi has acted in about 300 films in Hindi and Gujarati, including his several appearances in mythological films. He was named as the acting chairman of the Central Board for FIlm Certification (CBFC). He worked as chief during 2002-2003. Trivedi has won as many as seven awards for the best acting.

Trivedi was also elected as a member of parliament (MP) from Sabarkatha constituency representing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1991 and was in office till 1996.
