When a meteorite landed on the European continent during the Hyborian age and was found by a human hunter-gatherer, he had to fight Ulluxy’l Kwan Tae Syn, the agent of Hellfire Helix, an evil extra-dimensional entity. During the fight, the meteor was smashed, and a part of it, called the Bloodgem, was embedded in the human’s chest making him immortal. He later came to be known as Ulysses Bloodstone. For ten millennia, he looked for revenge against the Hellfire Helix who killed his entire tribe. He finally succeeded in his quest in the 20th century. After achieving his revenge and getting the Bloodgem removed from his chest, his body restored to its original age, collapsed and crumbled into dust and bones, taking the appearance of a corpse that had died thousands of years ago.
