The 49ers proceeded by beating the Cowboys 19-12 in the Divisional Round, with Brock Purdy taking the lead with the league’s fifth-ranked offense in total yards per game with an average of 365.6. With a victory tonight, Purdy hopes to maintain his team’s perfect 7-0 record since taking over and guide them to the Super Bowl.

The Eagles, on the other hand, demolished the Giants in their first playoff game, winning 38-7. The Eagles’ top-ranked offense this season has been fueled by MVP candidate Jalen Hurts at quarterback. The Eagles are top-10 in the league for pass yards per game and rank third in the league in total yards per game (389.1).

Since these are the two NFL’s top teams, it is impossible to foresee how the NFC Championship Game will turn out. However, here are some of the key developments that happened since the match kicked off at 3:00 pm EST.

Live Developments in the game:

The Eagles won the coin toss and deferred, giving the 49ers possession of the ball. About ten minutes into the game, Hurts attempted an unsuccessful pass on the first down but passed the ball to Saunders on the next down, allowing the Eagles to touchdown on their first possession.

A few minutes later, Hurts threw a pass and The Eagles decided to go on 4th and 3.  Hurts fumbled for a bit before coming across DeVonta Smith, who made an incredible catch just inside the goal line at the San Francisco 6-yard line!

It is now the end of Q1, with The Eagles leading the game 0-7.
