The New England Patriots hosted the Chicago Bears in a Monday Night Football game in Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season on October 24. While the hosts started the game underwhelmingly, going down 10-0 in the first quarter, they made a comeback in the second quarter, taking a 14-10 lead over the Bears, thanks to touchdowns from quarterback Bailey Zappe and running back Rhamondre Stevenson.

The Patriots scored two touchdowns in the second quarter. The second came from Stevenson, who rushed 4-yards to help the Patriots take a 14-10 lead with 6:04 left on the clock for halftime.A

The 24-year-old received the ball from Bailey Zappe and made a run through the middle towards the left and made a 4-yard touchdown. It also helped the Patriots to take a 14-10 lead for some time, before the Bears took the lead once again, going into halftime with a 20-14 lead.

The running back has been one of his side’s best players this season, registering 87 carries for 448 yards, 3 rushing touchdowns and 17 receptions for 86 yards so far this season. He also recorded 8 carries for 23 yards, 1 rushing touchdown and 2 receptions for 19 yards in the first half against the Chicago Bears.

The New England Patriots are going through a lean patch as they find themselves at the bottom of the AFC East Standings. They have registered three wins and as many losses in the 2022 NFL season and a victory against the Chicago Bears is crucial for them.
