A school of Crevalle Jack fish were spotted swimming in a heart-shaped formation off the shores of Juno Beach, according to South West News Service (SWNS). Paul Dabill reportedly captured the footage with his DJI Mavic Air 2 drone on Tuesday morning.
He told SWNS that he shot this on October 5 with his drone at around 9 am ET. The footage features the school of Crevalle Jack gracefully swimming right off the Intracoastal Waterway surface, contrasting beautifully with the lush turquoise waters of Juno Beach.
“I was looking for mullet,” Dabill told SWNS. “This time of year is the fall mullet migration.”

“There were no mullet at the beach this day, however I found the school of Crevalles Jacks instead. I immediately recognized the heart shape of the school when I first saw it.”
Dabill said that the school of fish “maintained” the heart shape “for several seconds before morphing into other shapes”.
The 47-year-old has posted an extended video of the Crevalle jacks to his Facebook page, Paul Dabill Photography.
Dabill also blessed with the glimpse of tarpon and glass minnows at Juno Beach during his Tuesday visit,
Social media users were quick to notice the artistic formation of the fish and praise Dabill for his capture.
“That’s amazing,” one commenter wrote.

“So cool that you captured that daisy-chaining Crevalle school this time of year as they usually only do that off the [South East Florida] beaches in early Spring,” another commenter added.
Dabill, in an email sent to Fox News, expressed his elation at finding the heart-shaped Crevalle jack and said he found it to be beautiful. “I’ve been flying my drone over the ocean for the past year,” he wrote. “I’ve seen schools of jacks like this several times, and I am always impressed by the beautiful and mesmerizing shapes the schools make.”
