The Primetime Emmy Awards 2021, which celebrates the best work of television, saw a return to the in-person award ceremony after hosting a virtual event last year in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, witnessed some early awardees in Kate Winslet, The Crown, The Queen’s Gambit, John O’Connor, Hacks among many others.

The award ceremony took place at the Event Deck at LA Live. The ceremony was moved to an indoor-outdoor venue this year due to the pandemic. Other precautions include all attendees being required to show proof of vaccination.
