Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, opened up about the Netflix series The Crown in the show The Late Late Show With James Corden hosted by a good friend of the Duke of Sussex, Briton James Corden. The interview was held earlier this year in February end where Prince Harry revealed what exactly he feels about the hit show depicting the story of the Royals.

As it turns out that The Crown doesn’t bother Prince Harry because it doesn’t claim to be a documentary. “They don’t pretend to be news. It’s fictional. But it’s loosely based on the truth. Of course it’s not strictly accurate… it gives you a rough idea about what that lifestyle, what the pressure of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that,” he said.

He further added, “I am way more comfortable with The Crown than I am seeing the stories written about my family, my wife, or myself. Because it’s the difference between, that is obviously fiction, take it how you will, but this is being reported on as fact, because you are supposedly news. I have a real issue with that.

Subsequently, Prince Harry went on to say that it was the British media was “destroying” his mental health, which ultimately compelled him and Meghan Markle to take a step back from their roles as working royals.

Furthermore, Prince Harry is at peace with The Crown, perhaps, that he has an idea of who could play him %u2013 fellow redhead Damian Lewis. Corden then suggested that he could play Prince William, saying, “that’s casting.” Prince Harry, however, did not agree. He said, “It’s not great casting, but it is casting.”
