The Denver Broncos travelled to face the Los Angeles Chargers in Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium on October 17, also the final game of Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season. While the Denver Broncos started the game on a strong note, scoring 10 points and allowing none in the first quarter, they looked underwhelming in the following quarters.

However, one of the highlights of their gameplay came in the fourth and final quarter, when linebacker Baron Browning intercepted Los Angeles Chargers starting quarterback Justin Herbert and fumbled, only to be recover in the next moment. The play received praise from fans and pundits alike.

The drive saw Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert delivering a pass over the middle before it popped up in the air after tight end Gerald Everett failed to receive it properly. The ball was quickly picked up by Broncos linebacker Browning, who also fumbled on return, however, made a recovery soon after before starting a sprint.

The NFL Next Gen Stats reported that the interception by the Broncos increased the winning probability for the visitors t0 63% from an earlier 42%.

Browning, who replaced Randy Gregory in the starting line-up for the Broncos, registered 2.5 sacks in the last two games, and went on to record 3 tackles, 1 sack, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery, 2 defended passes and 1 stuff against the Los Angeles Chargers in the 16-19 loss of the Broncos in Monday Night Football.

The 23-year-old was also in impressive form against the Indianapolis Colts when he registered 10 pressures on only 20 pass-rushing snaps. He also registered a 50% pressure rate and 60% win rate in the game, which is also the highest in a single game since 2006.
