A Neymar Jr. lookalike was spotted at the stadium during Brazil vs Switzerland watching the FIFA World Cup match from the stands. Fans around him took the man for the footballer and started taking selfies with him.

It was an amusing moment for the people and they were in real confusion given how similar the man looked to the 30-year-old PSG footballer.

Neymar Jr. is out of the match after he suffered an ankle injury in the opening match against Serbia. Brazil national team doctors said that he will miss the match against Switzerland, but Brazil’s number 10 is working hard to make a comeback in the World Cup.

“He is sleeping in physiotherapy, 24 hours a day,” Brazil captain Marquinhos said in a pre-match presser. “That shows how much he wants to be back with us. We don’t know when it’s going to happen, but we hope we will have him with us again as soon as possible and in good health mentally and physically.”

Coach Tite said that he would “force” injured right-back Danilo and Neymar to forgo their Sunday treatments in order to join their teammates for the final practice before the match against Switzerland. While Danilo received care at the club’s training facility, Neymar stayed at the team hotel.

“I’m injured, yes, and it’s a pain, and it will hurt,” Neymar had written in an Instagram story after the Serbia match.

“But I’m sure that I’ll have the chance to return, because I’ll do anything possible to help my country, my teammates and myself.”

“Nothing in my life was easy or given to me,” he added. “I’ve had always had to go after my dreams and my objectives.”
