Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry released his memoir Spare on Tuesday,
January 10, 2023.

Harry through his autobiography has made many revelations about
the royal family, how he was treated by his brother, killing people in Afghanistan, having cocaine and many more.

1. Prince William attacked Prince Harry

One of the most controversial and shocking revelations made in
Prince Harry’s book is that his older brother Prince William attacked and knocked
him onto the floor.

Harry wrote in the book, “He set down the water, called me another name, then
came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar,
ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s
bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for
a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

The incident took
place after an argument between the two brothers over the Duchess of Sussex,
Meghan Markle. According to the book, William called Markle rude, abrasive, and
difficult.

2. Harry’s number of kills

 Harry also revealed in his book that he killed
25 people in Afghanistan. he wrote, “So, my number: Twenty-five. It wasn’t a
number that gave me any satisfaction. But neither was it a number that made me
feel ashamed.”

Harry also added
that he saw people as “chess pieces removed from the board.” Prince
Harry killed these people while serving in the British army.

3. Harry didn’t want his father to marry Camilla

Harry in his book
disclosed that didn’t want their father Charles to marry Camilla (now the Queen
Consort). Harry felt that Camilla would become a wicked stepmother. Harry and
his brother William also called her the “other woman.”

Harry further wrote, “I recall wondering, right before the tea, if she’d be mean to me. If she’d be like all the wicked stepmothers in storybooks. But she wasn’t. Like Willy, I did feel real gratitude for that.”

4. Harry on his grandmother’s death

Spare also talked
about Harry’s grandmother, the late queen Elizabeth II’s death. He wrote, “It
was difficult.” He revealed that his father was the one to call him and informed about his grandmother’s health. His father also told him that he could visit the Scottish residence, but Harry’s wife
Markle wasn’t welcome.

Harry while walking towards his grandmother’s dead body, “regretted not seeing my mother at the end. Years of lamenting that lack of proof, postponing my grief for want of proof.

5. Prince Harry consumed cocaine

Harry made
another revelation about him having cocaine when he was 17. Harry stated, “Of
course. I had been doing cocaine around this time. At someone’s country house,
during a shooting weekend, I’d been offered a line, and I’d done a few more
since.”

He also wrote, ” it did make me feel different, and that was the main goal. Feel. Different. I was a deeply unhappy seventeen-year-old boy willing to try almost anything that would alter the status quo.”
