Harley Quinn is a DC comic character with a distinct backstory. She was not born in the comics, as many people believe. Paul Dini created her in the 1990s show Batman: The Animated Series. She was an instant hit, so her origin story from the show was adapted into a comic. She now has her own animated series on HBO Max, and the show will be expanded next year with the Harley Quinn Valentine’s Day Special.  The Special is produced by Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions and Norman Productions in collaboration with Warner Bros. Animation.

Harley and Ivy will spend their first Valentine’s Day together in the special, the special will also shed light on how the rest of the motley crew celebrates the gushiest, mushiest, and most romantic day of the year, in addition to the main power couple from the show. The couple will be celebrating their love in 2023.
