Sex Education Season 3 is finally here. We will finally get to know what happens between Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve (Emma Mackey). Will their love blossom into something solid or a twist awaits us? Apart from that, the side stories of other characters is also expected to add more colour to the show.

Ahead of the show’s Season 3 release, Moordale Secondary School’s School Ruby, played by Mimi Keene, said that the audience will see a very different side of her character.

“It’s definitely a very different vibe for her this season. It starts off very the same, and you sort of see her trying to hide, trying to keep things a secret that she doesn’t really want people to know, just to keep up her appearances,” Mimi told Digital Spy.

“I think being close with someone else, or spending a lot of time with someone else, allows her to understand that it’s not so bad to open up,” she continued.

She also added that she had a lot of fun playing the character and was “really glad I got to do that with her.”

Talking about the series, Asa Butterfield had told ELLE, “I think one of the reasons [the show has] done so well is because everyone just enjoys themselves. As actors, having the freedom to play with the words and experiment and be a bit goofy—these are the magic moments, which you wouldn’t be able to write into a script. And I think that really elevates the show.”

Season 3 of Sex Education will have regular cast members in Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells, Aimee-Lou Wood, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Chaneil Kular, Simone Ashley, Mimi Keene, and Tanya Reynolds.
