Emma Corrin, the actor who played Princess Diana in season 4 of The Crown, has revealed that she attended the Royal wedding of Prince William And Kate Middleton in 2011 at the age of 15. The actor has also revealed that she%u2019s long been a fan of the Royal Family.

During a virtual interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, the actor noted that she wasn%u2019t a %u2018massive royal family person%u2019 growing up but developed a love for the royals in the lead up to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge%u2019s nuptials at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. While she didn%u2019t quite score an invite, the star revealed that she and a friend joined the crowd outside of St Paul%u2019s Cathedral for the special day.

%u201CI remember 10 years ago, I was 15, I was with my friend Katherine and we got very very swept up in the royal wedding fever I think probably because we were both very bored and very single. So we decided to go,%u201D said Corrin.

%u201CWe were so excited because my friend Katherine had this great inflatable daffodil. I remember that when we were watching the footage back to see if we could get a glimpse of ourselves, we couldn’t see ourselves but we did see, in the middle of these crowds, this massive inflatable daffodil that she was holding up,%u201D The Crown star further added.

For her splendid acting in The Crown as Princess Diana, Emma Corrin has won the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama. However, for season 5 and 6 of The Crown, the role of %u201CPeople’s Princess%u201D will be taken over by Elizabeth Debicki. According to reports, the production has begun for season 5 and hopefully it will arrive on the streaming site mid or late 2022.
